1. Statement of commitment

Livingwell Recruitment is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains. We support the objectives of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and have a zero tolerance approach to slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking.

2. Our business

Livingwell Recruitment provides recruitment services within the UK, specialising in mental health and neurodevelopmental roles. Our work involves sourcing, screening and placing clinicians into client organisations.

3. Risk assessment

Given the nature of our business, our direct modern slavery risk is considered low. However, we remain vigilant because:

  • Recruitment and labour supply can be targeted for exploitation

  • Supply chains can include third-party service providers

  • Vulnerable individuals may be at risk of coercion

4. Policies and controls

We commit to:

  • Ethical recruitment practices and transparent communication

  • Checking right to work documentation where applicable and relevant to the engagement model

  • Maintaining clear contractual terms and invoicing processes

  • Encouraging reporting of any concerns relating to exploitation or coercion

  • Refusing to engage with organisations where we believe there is an unacceptable risk

5. Due diligence

Our due diligence may include:

  • Verification of client organisations as legitimate entities

  • Confirming contractor and clinician professional registration where relevant

  • Ensuring payment arrangements are transparent and made through traceable channels

  • Monitoring for red flags such as unusual control of candidates by third parties or inconsistent documentation

6. Reporting concerns

Anyone working for or with Livingwell Recruitment is encouraged to report concerns to a Director. Concerns will be taken seriously and investigated appropriately. We will support whistleblowing in good faith and will not tolerate retaliation.

7. Continuous improvement

We will keep this statement under review and update it as our business evolves.
